Egyptian giant – Al Ahly Sporting Club of Cairo have announced that there’s no single case of coronavirus in the team after third round of tests.

The Red Devils of Egypt in accordance with the Egyptian Football Association’s [EFA] have gone through its mandatory PCR tests successfully and are preparing ahead of the resumption of the season.

Sayed Abdelhafiz, football Director at Ah Ahly has confirmed that everyone who did the test among the players, coaching staff, and officials still tested negative.

Meanwhile, the EFA have found over 19 positive cases across the league with players at Zamalek, ENPPI, Wadi Degla and Smouha having tested positive.

The Egyptian Football Association is looking to complete the season by the end of August with the fixtures to be released in the coming days by the Competition Committee. The competition was halted on March 14 due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
