The Ghana Olympic Committee [GOC] has appointed Mr. Sahnoon Mohammed [President of the Ghana Cycling Federation] as its Chef de mission for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Queensland, Australia from April 4-15.

Mr. Sahnoon Mohammed has been charged to steer all activities leading up to adequate preparations for the Ghanaian contingents ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

According to a release from the Ghana Olympic Committee, Mr. Sahnoon will be assisted by the President of the Ghana Shooting Federation – Cillian Walsh.

The full list of Ghana’s chefs de missions for international competitions from now till the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are as follows:

The Commonwealth Games otherwise known as the British Empire Games is an international multi-sport event involving athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations.
