Former Ghanaian international and a representative of Strike sportswear – Yusif Chibsa is calling on the management of Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko to come out and explain the partnership deal between the two entities.
Contrary to reports that Asante Kotoko is considering striking a deal with another kits sponsor, Chiba claims that cannot be true because their relationship with the Porcupine Warriors will expire in 2022.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Angel [102.9] FM, Chibsa a former player of Asante Kotoko held the view that it would be disrespectful for the club to engage other competitor whiles their contract is still active.
“Strike is still the official Kit provider for Kotoko.
“I therefore, call on the officials of Kotoko to come out and clear the air on this wrong notion.”
Yusif Chibsa was the captain of the Black Meteor [U-23] team that won bronze medal at the 2003 All African Games in Abuja and also captained Ghana at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
