Sports administrator and a key member of the National Democratic Congress Yaw Boateng Gyan is calling on coach Kwesi Appiah to shut the door on Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew.
According to Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan the two cult figures in the Black Stars dressing room have divided the team into two political halves – NDC [National Democratic Congress] and NPP [New Patriotic Party].
The former management committee member of the Black Stars [Yaw Boateng Gyan] believes until this problem in solved to its entirety the progress of the senior national soccer team [Black Stars] will continue to remain in the pockets of Asamoah Gyan and his deputy – Andre Ayew who are the gang leaders in the dressing room.
Mr. Boateng Gyan further reiterated that the proximity between Asamoah Gyan and President Akufo Addo is very close whiles Andre Ayew and John Dramani Mahama [former President] are also friends.
“You could clearly see the last time that they avoided passing the ball to each other. They are toiling with our heart!
How can you play any productive football with these mindsets?, he quizzed.
“Even those of us who are engaged in party politics and football administrations at the same time don’t get the two mixed up”, Yaw Boateng Gyan said.
