Newly elected Secretary-General of the Association of International Press for Sports [AIPS], Mr. William Dodzi Ezah has said that he is always ready to take up new challenges as he climbs higher in the ladder of life without flapping.
Speaking to www.sports24ghana.com after his resounding victory over Gustav Sammick [13-09] at the just ended AIPS Africa congress held in Kenya on Monday, December 18, Mr. Ezah revealed that his latest portfolio is certainly not going to be his last.
“If the chance comes for me to serve elsewhere and go higher why not? I will climb up.
“Maybe the President of Ghana or the UN Secretary General who knows,” he quizzed.
“Sincerely, I don’t go for positions because of personal ambitions. Whenever I take up a job [position], I make sure I deliver till the very last minute of my term of office.”
Having accomplished so much in his career, Mr. William Ezah’s only regret, however, is that his mentor – the late Richard Avornyotse did not live to see his progress.
Apart from being elected onto the Executive Board of the AIPS Africa, Mr. William Ezah also holds several key positions including the General Secretary of the Sport Writers Association of Ghana [SWAG].
