Nigeria attacker – Asisat Lamina Oshoala has promised that the Super Falcons will at least score a goal at the Accra Sports Stadium today as they face the Black Queens of Ghana in the second leg of their 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations [AWCON] qualifying match.
The nine-time African champions [Super Falcons] have 2-0 advantage going into the second leg, but the four-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year award winner says they are focused and ready to pick the slot.
“2-0 is nothing in football because it can be cancelled in a minute as far as I am concerned because I have seen it happen so many times,” the FC Barcelona Femení attacker told Goal.
“Going to Ghana is like the score is still 0-0 and we will try to get a goal at least – an away goal advantage – and we will still go in there to put in our 100% effort,” she added.
The winner on aggregate in today’s game will face either Niger Republic or Cote d’Ivoire in the second round.
