Operations Manager of Dormaa based Aduana Stars, Mr. George Gyawu has waxed lyrical that the former CAF Champions League campaigners will beat the West Africa Football Academy to lift the 2017 Ghana Premier League [GPL] trophy.
“We are going to try our possible best to beat WAFA to boast our chance of annexing the trophy,” Mr. Gyawu told Asempa [94.7] FM on Wednesday, October 04, 2017.
“We know they [WAFA] are a very good side, but we are going to beat them nonetheless. The entire Dormaa Ahenkro is behind us and we cannot fail them,” Mr. Gyawu adds.
The first league match between the two sides at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope ended in a draw, but Aduana Stars are very optimistic of winning the second league at their favorite Nana Agyeman Badu Park this afternoon.
WAFA last three matches: Wa All Stars [Home], Ebusua Dwarfs [Away], and Medeama SC [Home].
Aduana Stars are atop the Ghana Premier League table with 48 points, a point above the soccer physicians [WAFA] who are second on the log with 47 points.
