Head coach of Aduana Stars Football Club – Joseph Asare Bediako has confessed that the former CAF Champions League campaigners grapple with goal scoring opportunities without their tormentor-in-chief, Yahaya Mohammed.

Aduana Stars piped Berekum Chelsea 1-0 today at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa to climb to the eighth position on the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League table with 33 points, but coach Bediako acknowledged in his post match interview that his players find it difficult to score more without their injured talisman – Yahaya.

“We are struggling to score more without Yahaya. When I took over we had only two strikers. That is, Yahaya and Bright Adjei and the transfer deadline was also close so we could not add more.

“We are going to work more on our goal scoring from here.”

Coach Bediako further reiterated that he knew the game was going to be a difficult one looking at the nature of the match.

“This is a local derby and I knew it was going to be a difficult game. Our plan was to win and we did just that.”
