The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League continues to prove why it should be considered as one of the most competitive in recent years as the battle for who get relegated and which team ultimately wins the competition get keener by the week.
Well, for a coach like Felix Aboagye he has been caught between the devil and the red sea after watching his side – Inter Allies FC lose [1-0] their matchweek 28 fixture to Legon Cities last Monday.
Inter Allies are stack at the bottom of the 18-team league with just 26 points, but Felix Aboagye has still not given up on his team, saying that they can avoid relegation should they win the rest of their games.
“The tally is against us with six matches to go,” the coach admitted during his post match press briefing on Monday.
“We need to win all the six matches to be able to climb out of relegation which I think is a yeoman’s job to do, but in football you don’t have to give up.
“We are still in the league, we are technically not out yet. We need to work very very hard if we want to get out of relegation.”
According to the former Black Stars winger [Aboagye], their next game against Asante Kotoko is a tough fixture but they have no option than to win.
“Our next match is against Asante Kotoko which is a very tough game so we are going to reorganize ourselves and make sure that we win that particular match.”
