Aduana Stars head coach – Asare Bediako has attributed his side’s heavy defeat by Bechem United at the Nana Gyeabour Park yesterday to bad condition of the pitch.

The ‘Ogya Boys’ were outplayed, outmuscled, and humiliated [4-0] by Bechem United with goals from Hafiz Konkoni [2×], Dennis Modzaka, and Sampson Adjetey.

But speaking in a post match interview, coach of Aduana Stars [Asare Bediako] said his players could not control the ball properly due to the slippery nature of the pitch:

“We lost because pitch was wet. We could not control the ball due to how slippery the pitch was.”

Meanwhile, defender of Aduana Stars – Isaac Kwain believes there’s no to apportioning blames because losing is part of the game so they have to go and prepare well ahead of their next game.

“We did not play as expected of us, but losing is part of the game so we have to go and prepare well ahead of our next game.”
