Head coach of Liberty Professionals David Ocloo has attributed his team’s 2-2 drawn game with Legon Cities FC on matchday 1 of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League to poor first half performance.

According to the coach his side did not start the game on a good note as they allowed their opponent [LCFC] enough space to operate:

“We did not come to the party in the first half because we did not defend well and the transition was not happening, but the transition was very smooth in the second half,” he said.

“We [Liberty Professionals] were not tactically up there [in the match against Legon Cities FC] tactically.

“And we were not that mobile in front of the post so we have to go and correct our mistakes and see what happens next.”

According to Michael Sefa, however, the scientific soccer lad’s abysmal first half performance came as a result of poor communication on the field of play whiles crediting Legon Cities FC for giving them a good fight.

Liberty Professionals will play as guest to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
