Hearts of Oak midfielder – Emmanuel Nettey has said that the playing body are downcast by the final result of their matchweek 28 fixture against Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday.
The match between the two city rivals ended in a stalemate [1-1], but the midfielder noted that the Phobians could have won the game if they had taken their missed opportunities.
“We are very disappointed because we came into this game with just one motive. That is, to get the three points and remain on top of the league.
“If we had buried all the chances we had, I don’t think we would have been here with just one point.”
Nettey further reiterated that the Phobians are keen on maintaining their position [first] on the league table till the end of the season.
“We had one point but, it is not game over. We are going to fight till the end of the season.”
