Legon Cities top marksman – Jonah Attuquaye has called the bluff of WAFA ahead of their Ghana Premier League matchweek 25 fixture against the ‘soccer physicians’ at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope on Saturday, May 15.

Attuquaye whose last minute goal ensured a hard fought victory for Legon Cities over Liberty Professionals on Wednesday dared WAFA during the post match press conference, asking them to be ready for The Royals.

“We will continue to take it game by game. This is behind us now and we are already aiming for the three points in the next game [against WAFA],” he said.

“Nothing to panic about. They should be ready for us,” Attuquaye added.

Meanwhile, coach Bashiru Hayford noted that he want to get Hans Kwofie back in action as soon as possible.

“It is rather unfortunate we are missing most of our players through injury when we needed them the most.”

The West African Football Academy [WAFA] defied all odds on Wednesday as they traveled to the AKOON Park in Tarkwa to beat Medeama SC 2-1, their second successive away win having beaten Berekum Chelsea a week ago at the Golden City Park.
