Ghanaian winger – Solomon Asante was on Tuesday, July 14 named as the USL Championship Player of the Week for Week 3 of the 2020 season.

The Phoenix Rising FC forward was a delight to watch in their 4-0 thrashing of LA Gallaxy II on Saturday at the Casino Arizona Field.

In fact, it was the first professional sports game in the State of Arizona since COVID-19 brought the sports world on pause, but the Black Stars winger who won the USL Most Valuable Player Award in 2019 was such a domineering character as usual, combining well with Junior Flemmings, Rufat Dadashov and Jon Bakero.
