Management of West Africa Football Academy [WAFA] and its sponsor – African Tiger Holding Limited have duly recognized Mr. Karel Brokken [Managing Director] for his exemplary stewardship.

Mr. Brokken has contributed immensely to the success story of the football farm – WAFA, formerly Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy which produced dazzling talents such as Kojo Loamey, Philemon McCarthy, Harrison Afful, Godfred Fosu, Dawuda Jawara, Yaw Frimpong, Nana Kwesi Asare, Sheriff Danladi, Jonathan Apor, Lamine Moro, Abdul Nafiu Iddrisu, Awal Mohammed, Abdul-Ganiyu Iddi, Daniel Adjei Boateng, Michael Akufo, Solomon Asante, Ernest Asante, Nii Plange, Mandela Ocansey, Mark Sekyere, Jordan Opoku, Mohammed Abubakari, Dominic Adiyiah, amongst others.

The above named players, very young then lightened the One Touch Premier League with some amazing football skills.

Mr. Brokken received his prize from Mr. Peace Lartey [Chief Accountant of African Tiger Holding Limited] during the half time of WAFA’s matchday 30 game against Medeama SC at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope which ended 1-1

“You deserve a lot of credit, for you have reached the goal you set 18 years ago and your success shows clearly that each challenge was well met. You have done a great job. And you deserve a big applause,” his citation reads.

“Our hearts are overwhelmed with joy as your endeavors have proved fruitful and here is a wish that the future holds many more of such glorious moments for you,” it adds.
