A pair of spikes signed by Jamaican sprint king Usain Bolt has been stolen from an undisclosed Derbyshire address.
The famous shoes worn by Bolt at the 2012 London Olympic Games was used by the sprinter in a 100m heat.
The Jamaican, who retired from the sport following last summer’s World Championships, won three gold medals in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay in London.
“The spikes are part of an extensive collection that I have built-up over the last 10 years,” the victim said.
Although the shoes have yet to be recovered a 35-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
