Besides lifting the Total U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2019 trophy after beating Cote d’Ivoire 2-1 after extra time, champions Egypt also dominated the individual awards of the competition.

Captain Ramadan Sobhy, scorer of the winning goal was adjudged the Total Man of the Competition, the award for the Most valuable Player of the tournament in addition to picking up the Total Man of the Match award for the final match.

Forward Mostafa Mohamed emerged topscorer after four goals in five matches whilst goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhy was named the safest pair of hands.
