Ivorian outfit FC San Pedro produced a commanding display at home, thrashing Guinean side Santoba FC 3-0 to book a slot in the play-off round of the Total CAF Confederation Cup.

With both sides having fired blanks in the first leg two weeks ago in Conakry with a 0-0 full time score, it was going to be anybody’s game in the return tie played in San Pedro.

The home side was not about to drop the pot on their own doorstep and they went ahead after 20 minutes, Agboke Pacome breaking the deadlock from the penalty spot. The home side held on for the lead till half time.

After the break, they kept the surge on and doubled their tally in the 64th minute through Aubin Kramo before Christ Mbondi wound up the victory with a goal in the first minute of added time.
