After putting up a sterling performance in last month scoring four goals on the road, Accra Hearts of Oak’s Arnold Thomas Anotey Abbey has been crowned as the NASCO Player of the Month – July.

The attacking midfield engineer who is also gunning for the goal king award in the 2017 Ghana Premier League won the prize ahead of Felix Addo [Elmina Sharks] and Berekum Chelsea’s Stephen Amankona.

In the best coach category, Yaw Acheampong of Elmina Sharks who led the Premier League new boys to four consecutive wins [100%] in the month of July was adjudged the NASCO Coach of the Month over Tom Strand [Great Olympics] and Augustine Addotey of Medeama Sporting Club.

The NASCO Player of the Month is a new initiative instituted by the Premier League Board [PLB] to serve as a morale booster for players and coaches.

The winners – Thomas Abbey and Yaw Acheampong will receive one NASCO Elite Q5 smart phone each.
