“This speech will produce great talents from my great work,” Asamoah Gyan’s prophesy

The commissioning of the ultra modern Asamoah Gyan Sports Centre in Accra Academy Senior High School on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 was almost turned into a Sunday morning church service when the Baby Jet – Asamoah Gyan took hold of the microphone.

In his short but prognosticated speech, Dr. Asamoah Gyan reckoned that he may not be the best, but his speech [at the commissioning of the Asamoah Gyan Sports Centre] will definitely produce great talents.

“I may not be the best talent ever, but this speech will produce great talents from my hard work,” Dr. Gyan said confidently.

Former President, Jerry John Rawlings was in attendance to grace the occasion which is expected to produce future talents for Ghana.

A special football match between Asamoah Gyan XI and former Ghana internationals was organized. The match ended 1-1 with Godwin Attram becoming the first player to score a goal at the Asamoah Gyan Sports Centre, scoring from a free kick outside the goal area.
