Ebusua Dwarfs coach – Ernest Thompson Quartey has waxed lyrical about his acidic experience at the Golden City Park in Berekum last Sunday.

According to the tough talking coach he could have defended himself if the supporters of Berekum Chelsea who assaulted [allegedly] him had come in turns.

“I am a man [strong]. If they had come one by one many of them would have been in the hospital by now,” the coach said.

It was widely reported on Sunday that the coach was beaten on suspicion of possessing juju [Black Power] on the touchline during Ghana Premier League week 20 game involving Berekum Chelsea and Ebusua Dwarfs at the Golden City.

The said incident where Thompson Quartey’s body was subjected to kick-ups by some supporters happened in the first half of the game when the guest [Ebusua Dwarfs] had taken a 1-0 lead.

Meanwhile, Berekum Chelsea came strongly in the second stanza to score two goals to runaway with the three maximum points at stake.
