President of Tema Youth Football Club and former Executive member of the Ghana Football Association [Wilfred Kwaku Osei Palmer] has chided the GFA, claiming that there hasn’t been enough transparency Kurt Okraku took over the reigns of administration.

Kurt E.S Okraku became the President of the GFA on October 25, 2019 after pulling 59 votes to beat George Afriyie [43 votes] at the last elections held at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons.

But the owner of Tema Youth Football Club [Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer] who was disqualified from contesting the last Ghana Football Association Elections has recently bare his teeth at Kurt Okraku’s led administration – criticizing and fact-checking them by the minutes.

According to the former Exco member [Palmer], the recent appointments of coaches to the various national teams by the administration rather looks opaque.

“There hasn’t been transparency at the GFA since Kurt Okraku took over,” Mr Palmer told Joy News in an interview.

“Just look at the appointments of coaches at our various national teams. And even the management committee which could have been done at Congress.

“I don’t want to discredit any of the coaches but the process was questionable. Because under Kwasi Nyantakyi the whole process for the coaches was opened for everyone,” he noted.
