Former Black Stars goalie Abdul Fatau Dauda, otherwise known as ‘Lion,’ has finally completed his much awaited move to Legon Cities Football Club [LCFC] for an undisclosed fee.

Speaking to at the Carl Reindorf Park on Sunday, Fatau Dauda confirmed that he was close to joining The Royals [LCFC] but did not reveal the exact date he was going to put pen to paper.

The former Enyimba FC goalkeeper comes into coach Goran’s team with lots of experience having featured for local sides, Okwahu United and AshantiGold SC.

Fatau Dauda also played for Premier Soccer League sides, Orlando Pirates and Chippa United before joining two-time African Champions Enyimba International FC in December 2016.

Dauda [34] made his international debut in 2008 and went on to make 24 appearances for the Black Stars including the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. can confirm that the ‘branding mafia’ of Ghana football [LCFC] will unveil another big signing in the coming days.

The Royals will have their first classical test in the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League when they host CAF Confederations Cup campaigners – Asante Kotoko on Friday, January 03 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
