After five years in Asia, Asamoah ‘The Baby Jet’ Gyan is back in Europe, but in the Turkish City of Kayseri having signed a two-year deal with Kayserispor Kulubu.
The Black Stars captain [Asamoah Gyan] joined the Anadolu Yildizi’s [Kayserispor] who finished fifteenth [15th] in the 2016/2017 Turkish Super Lig after completing his deal with Chinese side Shanghai SIPG.
The African all-time leading goalscorer in the history of the FIFA World Cup scored a total of 107 goals in 117 appearances for Asian clubs – Al Ain, Shanghai SIPG, and Al Ahli Dubai.
According to information available to www.sports24ghana.com coach Marius Sumudica’s aim of securing Asamoah Gyan is to help him solve the lack of goal scoring problems that has bedeviled the club for the past two seasons.
