Manager of Sudan national football team – Hubert Velud has admitted that playing the Black Stars is going to be very difficult game but believes he has got the players whose spirit will help him achieve the result all the same.

“I now know 95% of the squad shape after facing Tunisia, Chad and Togo friendly last month,” Velud told

“We have a good group of players whose spirit will help us to get the best results. Ethiopia game will fine tune our preparations.”

Velud’s locally populated squad Sudan are already in camp, preparing ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers’ Group C double header against the Black Stars of Ghana.

As part of his plans to put the team in the right shape ahead of the Black Stars game, coach Hubert Velud has line up a special friendly match against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa on November 6.
