England captain – Harry Kane says he is “staying at Tottenham this summer” after long transfer rancor with Daniel Levy over his move to Manchester City.
Kane was all, but set to sign for the Premier League champions [Man City] in order to win silverware.
However, Daniel Levy maintained his grounds, saying that the 28-year-old striker was not for sale even though Kane’s camp revealed that their client had reached an agreement with Levy that he would be sold this summer but Tottenham denied that plea.
“It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks,” Kane tweeted today.
“I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100 per cent focused on helping the team achieve success.”
Harry Kane made his first appearance of the season against Wolves on Sunday, where he was given a hero’s welcome by the fans.
