Stoke City intensifies pursuit of Daniel Opare

English Premier League [EPL] side Stoke City is bent on capturing Black Stars and Augsburg fullback Daniel Opare Tawiah to the bet365 Stadium.

Stoke City manager [Mark Hughes] wants options at fullback and has identified the Ghanaian as the preferred choice for the Potters – Stoke City.

According to sources, Daniel Opare will cost the Stoke-on-Trent [Staffordshire] based club a fee of around three million pounds

The Ghana international, who joined the German side in 2015, will be out of contract in the summer and Augsburg will embrace any good offer in the January transfer window, knowing very well that the player can go for free in the summer.

Swansea City is also reported to have a bid in waiting for the 27-year-old who can play at right-back as well as left-back should Stoke City fails to reach agreement with the FIFA U-20 World Cup gold medalist.

Daniel Opare has been in blistering form for Augsburg in the 2017/2018 Bundesliga season.
