Black Stars winger – Solomon Asante marked yet another perfect night for Phoenix Rising FC [PRFC] on Sunday having guided the USL Western Conference Championship Champions to humiliates Oakland Roots 3-0 at Wild Horse Pass.

Asante, who has won back-to-back Most Valuable Player in the USL made the difference, scoring a brace – his eight for PRFC since joining them from TP Mazembe.

The Ghanaian midfielder [Asante] set the night rolling in just 10 minutes into the game as he broke the deadlock for the champions as he finished from Dadashow’s rebound.

The Black Stars attacking midfielder crowned the night with 68th minute equalizer having intercepted Oakland Roots goalkeeper’s [Zeus De La Paz] short pass to his colleague to coolly plant the ball into the net.

The former Berekum Chelsea and TP Mazembe silky middie dedicated his brace to his wife and all mothers.
