Phoenix Rising FC winger – Solomon Asante has dedicated his USL Championship Most Valuable Player award [Week 3 of the 2020 season] to the vociferous supporters of the team.

The Ghanaian attacking midfielder earned 74% of the total ballot cast whiles Indy Eleven’s Tyler Pasher finished second with 29%.

“Dedicate it to the numerous fans of Phoenix Rising FC for their incredible and unflinching support from far and near,” the Ghanaian forward wrote via his social media handle.

Asante, the reigning Championship Most Valuable Player produced an amazing performance in their 4-0 drubbing of LA Galaxy II on Saturday night at Casino Arizona Field, scoring two goals and assisting one as well.

Tyler Pasher on the other hand was on cloud nine in Indy Eleven’s 2-0 win over Saint Louis FC on Saturday, notching his third goal of the season.

The Championship’s Player of the Week is selected by the USL National Media Panel, which is made up of representatives from each media market in the Championship.
