Hearts of Oak coach – Samuel Boadu has said that the Phobians were not ready to negotiate any point with King Faisal in their matchday 23 game at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday.

Two second half goals from Kwame Obeng Junior [58th minute] and Daniel Afriyie [88th minute] secured the three points for Hearts of Oak, but according to coach Boadu the win did not come on a silver platter.

“It’s not easy winning matches like this. King Faisal gave us a tough game, but we were psyched up for the three maximum points. The players also proved on the pitch that they wanted the win.

“I don’t know if they had to put in this kind of special performance because they were coming to play Hearts of Oak.”

Hearts of Oak have maintained their position on the league table [4th] with 37 points, behind Great Olympics, Medeama SC, and Asante Kotoko.
