Liverpool and Senegal forward Sadio Mane is set to miss the rest of the season as he is expected to start his knee operation that will keep him out of action for two months today.
Mane  suffered meniscus damage after colliding with Everton’s Leighton Baines during the Merseyside derby.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed the news on Monday whiles predicting next season as his comeback.
“He will get a longer break and will be ready for next season. That is the only good news,” the Liverpool coach revealed.
Sadio Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton last summer for a fee of 30 million pounds. He has scored 13 Premier League goals in 27 appearances for The Reds.
