Meticulous sports journalist and a researcher in Athletes’ Satisfaction – Kenneth Odeng Adade and Francis Nana Yaw Asare have been appointed by Precept Sports Consult to facilitate its upcoming event [The Coaches’ Webinar] on Friday, April 2021.

The event which will be held under the theme: ‘Sustaining female athletes’ participation in sports through coaches’ webinar is aimed at increasing female participation in sports.

The orgnaisers holds the believe that the timing is perfectly right as Ghana seeks to engage more women in sports and as the world’s sporting fraternity is also looking gender equality in sports.’

Speakers for the zoom event includes; Dr. Kyle Pierce [A member of the Coaching and Research Committee of the International Weightlifting Federation and also head of the Kinesiology department of the Louisiana State University], Ms. Dana Haider Touran [A former Olympic Taekwondo athlete, first World and Youth Olympic Games medalist for Jordan and a Member of the Development Committee at the World Taekwondo], and Mr. Eric Appiah Junior [A PhD Researcher in Sports, Development and Ethics and also a Sports & Exercise Scientist as well as Sports Consultant].

The coaches’ webinar

Mr. Adade has a B.A and Diploma in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Global Sport Management at the Seoul National University in Korea.

He also has a Certificate in Sports Event Management from the International Olympic Committee [IOC], Certificate in Sports Administration from Africa Weightlifting Federation [AWF], Certificate in Event Management and National Sports Administration from the Badminton World Federation [BWF] and a Certificate in Paralympic sports from the International Paralympic Committee [IPC]. He recently obtained a diploma in football medicine from FIFA.

As industrious as he is, Ken Adade has also been involved with some Sports Bodies and other organisations, serving in different capacities.

According to the organizers, this webinar is open to all coaches from all sporting disciplines across the country as well as sports administrators and the media.
