English Premier League clubs and EFL have agreed a 10-week off-season transfer window which opens on Monday, July 27, 2020 to October 05.
It has also been announced that there will be an additional domestic-only window, when Premier League clubs can deal exclusively with EFL clubs between October 5-16.
“During this window, Premier League clubs will only be able to trade with EFL clubs (either loans or permanent registrations],” a Premier League statement read.
“No transfers can take place between Premier League clubs in this period.”
Several other major European leagues have also confirmed that October 5 will be their transfer deadline day, with October 6 being UEFA’s deadline for registering players for the Champions League and Europa League.
