Assistant coach of Legon Cities FC – Wahid Mohammed has said that playing against teams in the relegation zone at this time of the season could be very frightening.

The Royals have won four out of their last five games in the second round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Below is the results of Legon Cities last five Premier League games:

Ebusua Dwarfs 0-3 Legon Cities

Legon Cities 2-1 Liberty Professionals

WAFA 1-0 Legon Cities

Legon Cities 2-0 Aduana Stars

AshantiGold SC 0-1 Legon Cities

But, despite their current fearsome form, coach Wahid Mohammed is urging his team to be cautious going into the game:

“We just need to be more careful because playing teams below you are a bit scary but we believe in ourselves and hopefully, it will be another victory on Sunday.”

Wahid Mohammed, who captained Liberty Professionals during his playing days added that Issaka Mohammed who got injured during Legon Cities MTN FA Cup game against Uncle T. United yesterday is expected to be ready for the matchweek 28 fixture.

“He is fine now and that’s a major boost for us. Issaka is a warrior and should be ready for the game against Inter Allies on Sunday.”
