Chelsea manager – Frank Lampard has all, but confirmed that FA Cup final between his side and Arsenal will be Pedro Eliezer Rodríguez Ledesma’s last game for the Blues.
Having marked his 137th Premier League appearance for Chelsea in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Wolves, but the former Barcelona attacker said via a tweet that was his last game at Stamford Bridge.
“My last game at Stamford Bridge,” Pedro tweeted on Sunday night.
But according to Lampard, 32-year-old attacker will be on hand for the FA Cup final against Arsenal and probably the Champions League last-16 second-leg trip to Bayern Munich.
“The lads have just pretty much serenaded Pedro in the changing room and rightly so because of the career he has had generally, and for this club,” said Lampard.
“It was his last Premier League game, but the impact he has had here is huge.
“I want to say a big thanks to Peds and wish him well as he goes forward.
“He is here for the remainder of games, but a big player of the club leaves and the spirit of the club I saw afterwards was pretty special.”
The Spanish World Cup winner is expected to join AS Roma in the coming weeks.
