Father of Isaac Dogboe, [Paul Dogboe] has said there is no way Adam ‘BluNose’ Lopez can beat the former WBO junior featherweight world champion in their scheduled 10-round NABF title fight at The Theater inside Virgin Hotels on Saturday, June 19.

According to Dogboe’s father, Adam Lopez is way below the pedigree of his son and as such cannot cause any upset on fight night.

“I don’t think Adam Lopez can cause any threat to Isaac Dogboe unless he isn’t well prepared,” he told Donu’s Corner.

“Adam Lopez is not world champion pedigree. It’s going to be a walkover for Isaac, because come on man, Adam Lopez? he quizzed.

“He [Isaac Dogboe] used to beat this kid [Lopez] hands down in the sparring gym in California two years ago when I used to train Isaac.”

Paul further reiterated that the Glendale [California] boxer needs this fight more than the Royal Storm because the upcoming fight does not actually add anything to Isaac Dogboe’s resume.

Isaac Dogboe [21-2, 15 KO’s] shot to prominence on April 28, 2018 having knocked out Jessie Magdaleno at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia to clinch the WBO junior featherweight world title.

But after one title defence against Hidenori Otake, the Ghanaian boxer went ahead to lose twice to Emanuel Navarrete.

He, however, returned on July 21, 2020 to cruise to an eight round TKO victory over Chris Avalos at the MGM Grand, Paradise.
