Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin [coach of the Black Starlets] has promised to win the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India to quench the thirst of all football loving Ghanaians.
Speaking on the expectations of Ghanaians with regards to the Black Starlets at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin said he’s very much aware of the expectations back home and they’re [he and his team] working very hard to bring the trophy to Ghana.
“Everybody in Ghana expects us to bring the cup [trophy] to Ghana so we are working towards it. We are working very hard to achieve that so that we’ll be able to take the cup home to Ghanaians,” Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin said in an interview.
“I have watched their matches over and over again. I have seen that they have improved a lot, so it’s going to be a tough match, but then we want to win so we hope that we win and move to the next stage of the competition,” Paa Kwesi Fabin noted.
Ghana topped the Group A table with 6 points whiles Niger qualified as one of the best third placed teams in the competition, having come third in Group E behind Brazil and Spain with just 3 points.
