Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian did not sound impressed in the face of the twinkle-twinkle little Starlets’ 2-0 over Niger in an friendly international match played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, April 17, 2017.

Two goals in each half from Ibrahim Sulley and Gabriel Leveh ensured victory for the Starlets, but speaking to the press in a post match interview coach Paa Kwesi Fabian expressed concerns about the performance of his team.

“I think it was a very good exercise for us, but all the same I think we could have won by a wider margin”

“I was expecting more from them today. We’ll keep working on them till the start of the tournament,” the coach said.

The Black Starlets will play Niger again on Thursday, April 20 at the same venue as both sides are seeking to shape up their team ahead of the Africa U-17 football tournament in Gabon.
