Nigerian attacker Moses Eneji Peter has revealed the secret behind the Super Eagles’ 2-0 victory over the Black Stars B in their last Group A game of the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations.

“Our coach told us to be confident. We came into this game to win and determined to qualify,” Moses said in a post match interview.

Two second half goals from leading marksman Anthony Okpotu [53rd minute] and Moses Peter [56th minute] was all but what the Super Eagles needed to secure their semi final pass.

But the win did not change the shape of the Group A table as Ghana finished atop with 6 points whiles Nigeria came second with 5 points. The other Group A match between Mali and Guinea at the Nduom Sports Complex in Elmina ended 1-1.
