Leicester City striker – Kelechi Promise Iheanacho became the first-ever player to score on every day of the week in a single Premier League campaign having scored in the Foxes 1-2 defeat to Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge yesterday.
The Owerri born forward [Iheanacho] surprisingly went through the entire first half of the 2020/21 Premier League season without scoring a single goal, but has been on a different level since the start of the second stanza, scoring twelve  goals in the process.
His first goal of the season in Leicester City’s 2-0 win over Fulham on February 3, 2021 and never looked back, scoring eleven more in 11 appearance. His first hat-trick came against Sheffield United in March.
Iheanacho [24yrs] scored four goals in the UEFA Europa League campaign and three more goals in the FA Cup which Leicester City eventually won, becoming the Foxes leading goalscorer this season with 19 goals across all competitions.
His goal against Chelsea puts him in the Premier League history books as the first and the only player to score on all seven days of the week in a season in the competition.
