Black Stars right back [Samuel Inkoom] has spent most of the lockdown period training, but his latest twist-trim hairstyle will certainly raise eyebrows as it’s not something we’ve seen from him before.

Perhaps, this is the best way for Inkoom to kick start the season in a best possible manner as he seek to regain the shape that saw him feature 44 times between 2008 to 2014, scoring one for the Black Stars.

The Samtredia defender [Inkoom] began his footballing career at the Ghana National Sports College in Winneba, Ghana before joining Premier League side – Sekondi Hasaacas in the 2017/2018 season.

The Takoradi born defender quickly caught the attention of Asante Kotoko and was snapped from his boyhood club to join the Porcupine Warriors in the 2008/2009 League Season, scoring seven goals in twenty-six games for Asante Kotoko before leaving the Garden City for FC Basel in Switzerland.

Inkoom [30], was part of the Black Satellite team that won gold at the 2009 African Youth Championship in Rwanda and the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.

Samuel Inkoom has also played in two FIFA World Cups – South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014.
