Medeama SC duo; Evans Addotey and Bernard Ofori won the NASCO Coach and Player of the Month respectively for the month of May.
Coach Evans Addotey was crowned the coach of the month ahead of compatriots – Yusif Abubakar [Aduana Stars], and Tom Strand [Great Olympics] having guided his side to an unbeaten run in the month under consideration.
Bernard Ofori on the other hand scored four [4] goals in the month of May which elevated him above Samuel Sarfo [Liberty Professionals], and Samuel Adams of Aduana Stars who were also fingered for the prize.
The NASCO Player of the Month is a new initiative instituted by the Premier League Board [PLB] to serve as a morale booster for players and coaches.
The awardees will be presented with their prize [NASCO Q6 mobile phone] before kickoff of the week 17 matches.
