Sports editor of Rainbow Radio [87.5] International, Nana Prempeh otherwise known in the media terrain as ‘The British Man’ has resigned from the Accra based station.

Nana Prempeh took over Rainbow Sports in February 2012 where he worked as editor and host of Rainbow flagship Sports show – Total Sports Review for six (6) years.

The British Man has covered major sports tournaments and conferences, including the FIFA World Cup, Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, European Competitions such as the Champions League, Nations Cup [AFCON], as well as other international boxing events.

The experienced Sports Broadcaster started with Happy [98.9] FM in 2004, he later joined the Multimedia Group specifically Asempa [94.7] FM and doubled as the Greater Accra Regional Sports Editor for Kyzz FM in Takoradi.

Nana Prempeh expressed his gratitude to the Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of Rainbow Radio International – Dr Mac Amoah, Management both Accra and London, and the entire staff and his Sports Crew for the unflinching support he enjoyed whilst working with them.

Under his watch, he took the sports program to the next level which got the station nominated in several awards and eventually winning the 2015 Radio and Television Personality Award (RTP) in the Sports Program of the Year category.

Nana Prempeh is expected to bring to bear his experience and expertise in the new challenging environment as he takes over Power Sports [97.9] FM.

Nana Prempeh is the Public Relations Officer [PRO] for Ghana Professional Golfers Association [PGA]. He is also a member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana [SWAG].
