The BoK Nam Kim Golf Club in Burma Camp, Accra was the centre of attention on Saturday as eighty-eight [88] golfers took to the green course to battle for the ultimate prize at the 2021 MTN Invitational golf tournament.
The MTN Invitational golf tournament is a quarterly platform where the crème de la crème golfers from different golf clubs across Ghana compete for honors.
The first edition of the most famous golf tournament in Ghana [MTN Golf Invitational Tournament] was held at the Achimota Golf Course on March 27. As part of MTN’s 25th anniversary with the people of the Ashanti region, the event was held at the Royal Golf Club last month.
After a remarkable day of golf extravaganza Eric Ofosu-Hene was crowned the over all winner in the men’s category A competition having amassed 38 points, beating Peter Ntiamoah [second], and Nana Krakue who finished third.
Letitia Amponsah-Mensah [36 points] also toppled Marlene Tonyigah [36 points] and Elizabeth Essel-Koomson [35 points] to win the ladies category A.
