A familiar face on the green course – Christopher Mbii did just enough left in the tank to win the maiden edition of the MTN Invitational Golf tournament [2021] on Saturday, March 27 at the Achimota Golf Club.

Mbii, a serial winner having won previous events at the Celebrity Golf Course in Sakumono [2020] and at the Okyehene Invitational Golf tournament in 2019 emerged winner in the men’s [junior category] with 41 points to beat Church Ansah [41 points] to the win the ultimate prize.

The remarkable day of golf extravaganza also witnessed Alberta Lomofio emerging as the winner in the ladies category after golfing hard to beat Jiang Yang.

Other winners on the day includes; Vivian Dick, Max Prah, Leticia Amponsah-Mensah, Felix Akafo, Joy Arkutu, Mawuli Ababio, Gustave Gordono, Rita Pellegrino, amongst others.
