Senior manager regulatory and government affairs [MTN Ghana], Mr. Samuel Koranteng has revealed that the most cherished and trusted telecommunications brand will continue supporting golf in the years ahead.

“We have already owned the golf space and we’ll continue to own the golf space and next year we will continue to support this sport – golf,” Mr. Samuel Koranteng told the press at the MTN CEO Invitational Golf Tournament held at the Celebrity Golf Club, Sakumono on Saturday, December 09, 2017.

Mr. Koranteng further reiterated the reason why MTN will continue to support various golf tournaments in the country:

“Golf is played by all ages and is enjoyed by a whole range of people so we sponsor golf to ensure that we engage with our stakeholders which includes golfers to bring them together to network and to have a good time on the golf course as well as after the competition.”

According to Mr. Koranteng golf is a discipline that igneous to the health of anyone that participate in the sport.

Meanwhile, Helen Acquah won the ladies Group B category.

Winners in the various categories took home prizes including iPad, Samsung s8, plaques, amongst others.
