Medeama Sporting Club striker – Prince Opoku Agyemang gave the Ghana Premier League one of its most memorable goal celebrations ever at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa yesterday.
The striker scored a cheeky backheel goal against Ebusua Dwarfs, but his unique celebration is what rather caught the attention of those who were watching the game from far and near.
After hitting the back of the net in a grand style, Opoku Agyemang ran to the Mauve and Yellow bench to take his mobile phone only to place a call to his wife-to-be, Linda Frimpomaa Sefah.
According to information emanating from the camp of Medeama, the pair will tie the knot on Saturday, May 8 in the Garden City – Kumasi.
Medeama SC having won their game yesterday have leapfrog to the summit of the league table with 28 points.
