Mamelodi Sundowns will have to confronts their first two opening games – Bidvest Wits [Nedbank Cup semi-final] and Orlando Pirates [Absa Premiership] at Dobsonville Stadium on Tuesday, August 11 without their Uruguayan forward Leandro Gastón Sirino Rodríguez.

The South American striker is still facing suspension after the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary committee found him guilty in May and gave him a two-match suspension.

The Montevideo born striker has made thirty-two appearances in all competitions and banging eleven goals with seven assists in the 19/20 season.

Masandawana [Sundowns] are occupying the second spot on the PSL table with 44 points, 4 points behind league leaders – Kaizer Chiefs [48 points].
