Romelu Lukaku looks all but set to win the 2016/2017 English Premiership goal king award after his double on Sunday saw Everton beating Leicester City 4-2 at home.
The two goals take Lukaku’s goal tally to 23 so far this season, four goals better than close contender [Harry Kane] 19.
It must be noted however that Arsenal’s Chilean forward, Alexis Sanchez is on 18 goals and has nine matches to play, which places him as the strongest favourite to compete with the Belgian striker [Lukaku] for the goal king gong.
Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Chelsea striker, Diego Costa have both scored 17 goals each and cannot be snubbed either, despite Romelu Lukaku looking the hot favourite for the title.
