Ghanaian sprinter Sean Safo-Antwi coasted an enviable 10.48 seconds in the men’s 100 meters to claim silver at the 2018 Loughborough European Athletics Permit meet [LEAP] on Wednesday in Watford.

Commonwealth relay champion Harry Aikins-Aryeetey claimed victory after running 10.42 seconds with Canada’s Brendon Rodney finishing third.

Former world champion – Yohan Blake was disqualified in the finals for a false start having left his blocks too early.

The Jamaican won the heat with the fastest time of 10.34 seconds whiles Harry Aikins-Aryeetey clocked 10.36 seconds in his heat winning race.

Born on January 31, 1990 Safo-Antwi competed for Great Britain before switching his allegiance to Ghana early 2016 and represented Ghana in the 100m at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
